Saniya Kamal writes about impostors, impersonators, catfishes, doppelgangers, lookalikes, and types of chickens. She is from Karachi and currently based in Providence, Rhode Island. Her writing has won the Feldman Prize, The John Hawkes Prize, been a finalist for the The Salam Award, and has appeared in DAWN. She is a graduate of the Aga Khan University where she remains involved in efforts to foster creative writing and Narrative Medicine. She has an MFA from Brown University.
